The Facet Collection explores structure, contrast, and the quiet power of form. At first glance, the pieces appear minimalist and timeless — clean lines, simple silhouettes. But move closer, and hidden symbols begin to reveal themselves.
Houses. Hearts. Moons. Subtle shapes emerging from a crystalline structure — like raw gravel transformed through careful faceting. The rough meets the polished. The graphic meets the emotional.
Facet is rooted in the act of shaping by hand — filing, refining, adjusting until the surface catches the light just right. It was one of Carina Nordenstam’s earliest explorations, beginning with experiments in plexiglass and evolving into the signature faceted diamond cut. From there, the Copenhagen House series was born, followed by Heart and Moon.
Each piece carries that origin story: a balance between precision and intuition. Structured yet alive. Raw yet luminous.
